Σύνοψη Όρων Χρήσης

Τι είναι η edrink. Η edrink Ι.Κ.Ε.

Μη εμφάνιση (no-show).

The short version

  • edrink is the platform, not the venue. Your reservation is a direct arrangement between you and the restaurant or bar; we operate the booking service. More
  • Adults only. edrink features venues that serve alcohol; you must be 18 or older to use it. More
  • Most bookings are free. Where a venue requires a deposit or prepayment, the amount and the cancellation policy are shown before you confirm, and payment goes directly to the venue via Stripe. More
  • Fair cancellations. If a venue has not set a cancellation policy, you can cancel free of charge at any time before your reservation and get a full refund. If the venue cancels on you, you are always refunded in full. More
  • Show up or cancel. No-shows hurt venues. We notify you whenever a no-show is recorded on your account, you can dispute mistakes, and serious or repeated no-shows can lead to restrictions. More
  • Your consumer rights are untouched. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Greek and EU consumer law, and as a consumer you can always go to the courts of your own home town. More
  • Changes with notice. If we materially change these terms, you get at least 15 days’ notice and can close your account before the change applies. More

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and edrink Private Company (Ι.Κ.Ε.), 11-13 Aristotelous St, Athens 104 32, Greece, Tax ID 802281720, General Commercial Registry (GEMI) no. 173565201000, contact: support@edrink.gr, tel. +30 210 444 7831 (“edrink”, “we”, “us”). They govern your use of the edrink website, mobile app, and related services (together, the “Platform”).

You accept these Terms by the express action of creating an edrink account or confirming a reservation, whether through the Platform or through a third-party booking channel that uses edrink (Section 7); the Terms are presented or linked at those points. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Platform.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data. It is an information notice required by data protection law, not a contractual term of this agreement, and your data protection rights exist independently of these Terms. Our Cookie Policy explains the technologies we use on the website and in the app.

2. What edrink is (and is not)

edrink is a reservation platform: we let you discover restaurants, bars and other venues (“venues”), make and manage reservations, pay deposits or prepayments where a venue requires them, and receive confirmations and reminders.

edrink is a marketplace, not the venue. When you make a reservation, the contract for the meal, drinks or experience is formed directly between you and the venue. edrink transmits your booking and is not a party to that contract, and does not itself provide any hospitality service. If you have a complaint about the food, drinks, service or premises, raise it with the venue; we can help put you in touch, and Section 13 explains what we are and are not responsible for.

A reservation request becomes a confirmed reservation only when the venue accepts it and you receive a confirmation through the Platform.

3. Eligibility and your account

3.1 You must be 18 or older

The Platform features venues that serve alcohol and related content, and is intended exclusively for adults. By creating an account or making a reservation you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We rely on this declaration and the 18+ age ratings of our app store listings; we do not collect your date of birth. If we become aware of an account held by a person under 18, we close it and delete the data as described in our Privacy Policy. Venues may ask for identification and refuse alcohol service as required by law.

3.2 Your account

You can sign up with an email address and password or through Apple, Google or Facebook login; we will also ask for your name and phone number, which venues need in order to manage your reservation. Keep your information accurate and current, keep your credentials confidential, do not share your account, and tell us promptly at support@edrink.gr if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity under your account unless it results from a failure on our side. One account per person; creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions or abuse offers is a ground for suspension or termination of all related accounts.

3.3 Closing your account

You can close your account at any time: in the app, via the account-deletion form on our website, or by emailing support@edrink.gr. Reservations still pending at closure are cancelled, with any refunds processed under the applicable cancellation policy; if you want to keep an upcoming reservation, contact the venue directly before closing the account. Your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Reservations

4.1 How booking works

When you submit a reservation request, we transmit it to the venue. The venue must accept it within 48 hours (and in practice usually within minutes), otherwise the request is automatically cancelled and any payment authorisation is released. You will be notified of acceptance, rejection or expiry through the Platform.

4.2 Venue conditions are shown before you confirm

Any conditions the venue attaches to the booking, such as a deposit or prepayment, a cancellation policy, a minimum party size or a time limit on the table, are displayed before you confirm the reservation. By confirming, you accept those venue conditions alongside these Terms.

4.3 Changing a reservation

You can edit the reservation name, expected arrival time, and special request notes up until the reservation time. Changing the date, party size, or venue may require cancelling and re-booking; where the venue accepts such a change directly, no cancellation fee applies.

4.4 Late arrival

Unless the venue states a different period, tables are held for 30 minutes after the reserved time. After that, the venue may release the table and treat the reservation under its no-show policy.

4.5 Booking limits

To protect venues from abuse, automated limits apply to the number and pattern of reservations an account can make. If you reach a limit, the Platform will tell you at the time of booking.

5. Deposits, prepayments and cancellations

5.1 Most reservations are free

Most reservations on edrink are free of charge and require no payment details. Where a venue requires a deposit or prepayment, the amount is clearly shown before you confirm.

5.2 How payment works

Payments are processed by Stripe. The funds go directly to the venue’s Stripe account: edrink does not hold or transfer your money, and your full card details never reach our servers. When you confirm a booking, the amount is authorised on your card; it is captured when the venue accepts the reservation. If the venue does not accept within 48 hours, the authorisation is released; depending on your bank, the hold may take a few days to disappear from your statement.

5.3 Cancelling a reservation

Each venue’s cancellation policy (the deadline for free cancellation and any fee) is shown before you confirm. If you cancel before the deadline, the prepaid amount is refunded, less any fee stated in the policy. If you cancel after the deadline or do not show up, the venue’s policy determines what is retained.

If the venue has not set a cancellation policy, you can cancel free of charge at any time before the reservation and the prepaid amount is refunded in full.

5.4 If the venue cancels

If the venue cancels your reservation, any prepaid amount is refunded in full, regardless of the cancellation policy. The refund is initiated through Stripe to your original payment method without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days; banks typically take 5 to 10 business days to show the credit. If a venue closes or leaves the Platform before your visit, we will procure the full refund of your prepaid amount and assist you until it is resolved.

5.5 Receipts

Because payment is made to the venue, the venue is responsible for issuing the fiscal receipt or invoice for your deposit, prepayment and anything you consume. Ask the venue if you need documentation.

5.6 Payment disputes

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us first at support@edrink.gr; we respond within 14 days and will work with you and the venue to resolve it. Your right to dispute a charge through your bank or card issuer is not affected.

6. No-shows

A no-show is recorded when you neither arrive within the holding period of Section 4.4 nor cancel the reservation. No-shows cause real damage to venues, which is why the Platform exists in the first place.

  • Any prepaid amount is handled under the venue’s cancellation policy shown when you booked.
  • We notify you whenever a no-show is recorded on your account.
  • If you believe a no-show was recorded in error (for example, you attended but were not checked in), contact support@edrink.gr and we will review it with the venue and correct the record where justified.
  • In serious or repeated cases, we may restrict your ability to book (for example, requiring a card to book) or suspend or terminate your account under Section 12.

7. Bookings through Reserve with Google and other channels

You can book edrink venues through third-party channels such as Reserve with Google. In that case:

  • The reservation forms the same direct contract between you and the venue as a booking made in our app. The booking channel shows you the venue’s key conditions (including any deposit and cancellation policy) before you confirm, and your booking confirmation links to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
  • No edrink account is created for you. Your booking confirmation, sent by email or SMS, contains everything you need to manage or cancel the reservation; you can also contact us at support@edrink.gr.
  • The same payment, cancellation and no-show rules of Sections 5 and 6 apply.
  • You will not receive marketing from us unless you separately sign up and opt in; booking through a third-party channel never subscribes you to anything.
  • Your use of the third-party channel itself (such as Google) is governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policy.

8. Acceptable use

8.1 Booking conduct

  • Make reservations only if you intend to honour them, and cancel as early as you can if plans change.
  • Do not make false, duplicate or fraudulent reservations, and do not hold multiple tables for the same mealtime.
  • Do not resell reservations or offer them commercially.
  • Do not use multiple accounts to evade booking limits, restrictions, or offer conditions.
  • Treat venue staff with respect; venues may refuse service consistent with law and their own policies.

8.2 Platform conduct

  • No scraping, crawling or automated access without our written consent, including for training artificial intelligence models.
  • No interference with the Platform’s operation or security, no malware, and no circumvention of technical protections.
  • No reverse engineering or decompilation, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits it (for example, for interoperability).
  • No impersonation, no harvesting of other users’ or venues’ data, and no unsolicited commercial messages through the Platform.
  • No framing or misrepresentation of the Platform, and no use that damages edrink’s or venues’ reputation unlawfully.
  • Do not encourage venues to move edrink-originated reservations off the Platform to circumvent our policies.

We may investigate suspected violations and respond proportionately, from a warning to suspension or termination under Section 12, and where necessary legal action.

9. Reviews and user content

The Platform does not currently offer public reviews or ratings. If we introduce them, specific conditions (including who may review and how content is moderated) will be published and presented to you before you can post. Any content you do submit to us today, such as messages to support or notes on a booking, must be accurate, lawful, and free of third-party rights violations.

10. Promotions and offers

Promotions, coupons and offers may carry their own specific conditions, shown where the offer is presented; those specific conditions prevail over these Terms for that offer. We may modify, suspend or end a promotion with reasonable notice for material changes. Rewards or benefits you have already validly earned are not cancelled retroactively, except in cases of fraud, abuse, or breach of the offer’s conditions.

11. Intellectual property

The Platform, including its software, design, text, graphics and trademarks, belongs to edrink or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app and website for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms; the licence ends when your account closes or these Terms terminate. Venue names, logos, photographs and menus remain the property of the venues and are displayed with their permission.

11.1 App store terms

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and edrink, not Apple; Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance, support or warranty for the app beyond, where applicable, refunding the purchase price; edrink, not Apple, is responsible for the app and for addressing any product liability, consumer protection or IP claims; you confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo and are not on any US prohibited-parties list; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you. If you downloaded the app from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply and Google is not responsible for the app.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account on these grounds: material breach of these Terms; fraud, abuse, or conduct harmful to venues, other users or edrink; serious or repeated no-shows or bad-faith cancellations; provision of false information or impersonation; where the law requires it; or if we discontinue the Platform.

Except where immediate action is justified (fraud, security, legal obligation), we will give you notice, the reason, and where reasonably possible an opportunity to remedy the issue before terminating, and you can respond or object at support@edrink.gr. On termination, pending reservations may be cancelled with refunds processed under the applicable cancellation policies, and your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, governing law) continue to apply.

13. edrink’s responsibility and its limits

We work to keep the Platform available, accurate and secure, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Venue information (menus, prices, photos, opening hours) is provided by the venues; we make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate but do not guarantee it.

Because the meal or experience contract is between you and the venue, edrink is not responsible for: the quality, safety or legality of food, drinks or services at the venue; the conduct of venue staff or guests; the venue’s compliance with health, allergen or licensing rules; or personal injury or property damage occurring at the venue. Allergy and dietary needs are ultimately a matter between you and the venue; passing on your note (see our Privacy Policy) does not make edrink responsible for how the venue handles it.

What we are liable for. We are fully liable, without limitation, for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and in every case where mandatory law (including Greek consumer protection law) does not permit liability to be excluded or limited. For slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of obligations essential to the contract, and only for the foreseeable damage typical of this kind of service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses outside that scope.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes rights that Greek or EU consumer law grants you; no company’s terms can do that.

You are responsible for damage you cause edrink through your own fraudulent or unlawful use of the Platform.

14. Your consumer rights

All rights you have under Greek law and EU consumer protection law remain fully intact.

14.1 Right of withdrawal

You may withdraw from your agreement with edrink for the Platform service itself within 14 days of creating your account, at no cost. Closing your account (Section 3.3) is sufficient; you may also declare your withdrawal by emailing support@edrink.gr. However, under Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU, as transposed into Greek law by Law 2251/1994, the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to individual reservations for catering or leisure services arranged for a specific date. For those, the venue’s cancellation policy shown at booking (Section 5.3) applies.

14.2 Complaints and dispute resolution

Contact us first at support@edrink.gr; we respond within 14 days. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may turn to the Consumer Ombudsman (Συνήγορος του Καταναλωτή, www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr), the accredited consumer alternative-dispute-resolution body in Greece, or call the consumer helpline 1520. You can also always go to court (Section 16).

15. Changes to these Terms

If we make material changes (for example, to payments, cancellations, or your rights), we will notify you at least 15 days before they take effect, by email and/or a prominent notice in the app or on the website. If you do not agree with a change, you can close your account before the change takes effect. Using the Platform after the notice period ends means the updated Terms apply to you. Corrections and clarifications that do not affect your rights may take effect when posted. Previous versions are available on request.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Greek law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. Disputes are subject to the competent Greek courts; if you are a consumer, you may always bring proceedings, and may only be sued, in the courts of your place of domicile, in Greece or elsewhere in the EU, in accordance with the applicable jurisdiction rules.

17. Other terms

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with any venue conditions accepted at booking and any specific offer conditions, are the entire agreement between you and edrink for the Platform.

Severability. If a provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it applies to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions stay in force.

No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision, we do not waive our right to enforce it later.

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. edrink may assign them to an affiliate or a successor, including in connection with a merger, acquisition or corporate restructuring, and will notify you in advance; your rights under these Terms and under consumer and data protection law are not reduced by any assignment.

Independent parties. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, agency or employment relationship between you and edrink, or between edrink and any venue.

Force majeure. Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

Language. These Terms are published in English with a Greek summary above. In case of doubt about the meaning of a term as applied to consumers in Greece, the interpretation most favourable to the consumer prevails.
