Google Analytics). Όταν συμβεί αυτό, θα ενημερώσουμε αυτή την πολιτική και θα σας ζητήσουμε εκ νέου συγκατάθεση μέσω του banner.

How we use cookies and similar technologies

Last updated: 2 May 2026  |  Effective date: 2 May 2026

Quick summary

The short version, in plain language:

  • Where this applies: Our website www.edrink.gr. The mobile app uses different technologies — see our Privacy Policy for that.
  • What we use today: Only essential cookies needed to make the website work.
  • What we don’t use yet: No analytics cookies, no marketing cookies, no tracking pixels on the website at this time.
  • Your choice: A consent banner appears on your first visit. You can accept, reject, or change your mind later.
  • Future plans: We may add analytics or marketing cookies later. When we do, we’ll update this policy and ask for your consent again.
  • Contact: support@edrink.gr

1. About this Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how edrink Private Company (“edrink”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website www.edrink.gr.

It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how we handle personal data, and our Terms of Use.

This policy covers our website only. The edrink mobile app does not use cookies. The app uses other technologies such as device identifiers, push notification tokens, and mobile attribution IDs. These are described in our Privacy Policy.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site owners.

2.1 First-party vs. third-party cookies

  • First-party cookies are set by edrink directly when you visit our website.
  • Third-party cookies are set by other companies whose services we embed in our website (for example, an analytics provider). edrink does not currently use any third-party cookies on its website.

2.2 Session vs. persistent cookies

  • Session cookies are temporary and are deleted when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies stay on your device for a set period (or until you delete them) so the website remembers you on your next visit.

3. What cookies we currently use

At this time, edrink.gr uses only strictly necessary (essential) cookies. We do not currently use cookies for analytics, advertising, social media tracking, or any non-essential purpose.

3.1 Essential cookies

These cookies are required for the website to function. They cannot be disabled in our consent banner because the site cannot work properly without them. Under EU/Greek law (the ePrivacy Directive and Greek Law 3471/2006), strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.

PurposeDescriptionTypical duration
Session managementMaintains your session as you navigate between pages on the website. Set by our website platform (WordPress).Session (deleted when you close the browser)
Cookie consentRemembers your choice on the cookie consent banner so you don’t see it on every page load.Up to 12 months
Security and load balancingHelps protect the website from abuse and ensures content is served reliably.Session or up to 24 hours
Form submissionsUsed when you submit a contact or demo-request form, to prevent abuse and ensure the form works correctly.Session

3.2 Cookies we don’t currently use

For full transparency, we want to be clear about what is not running on edrink.gr right now:

  • No Google Analytics or similar web analytics cookies
  • No advertising or remarketing cookies (no Meta Pixel, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel, etc.)
  • No social media tracking cookies (no Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn pixels)
  • No cross-site tracking
  • No third-party embeds that set cookies (no embedded YouTube, Google Maps, or similar)
This may change. As we grow, we may introduce analytics or marketing cookies to better understand how people use our website and to support our marketing. When we do, we will update this policy, list each new cookie below, and ask for your consent through the cookie banner before activating them.

4. Your consent and choices

4.1 The consent banner

When you first visit edrink.gr, you’ll see a cookie consent banner that lets you choose whether to accept non-essential cookies. The banner allows you to:

  • Accept all cookies
  • Reject non-essential cookies
  • Customise your choices by category

Strictly necessary cookies are always on, because the website cannot function without them. This is consistent with EU/Greek law.

4.2 Changing your mind

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by:

  • Clicking the cookie settings link in our website footer (where available)
  • Clearing cookies in your browser, which will trigger the banner to appear again on your next visit
  • Adjusting your browser’s cookie settings directly

4.3 Browser-level controls

Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Helpful links for popular browsers:

If you block all cookies, including essential ones, parts of the website may not work properly.

4.4 “Do Not Track” signals

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. Because there is no industry consensus on how DNT signals should be handled, edrink does not currently respond to them. We rely on the cookie consent banner as the primary mechanism for managing your preferences.

5. Cookies and personal data

Some cookies may collect or transmit information that, alone or combined with other data, can be considered personal data under the GDPR (for example, an IP address). When this is the case, the processing is described in our Privacy Policy, which sets out:

  • What personal data we collect
  • The legal basis for processing
  • How long we retain it
  • Your rights as a data subject under the GDPR (access, correction, deletion, objection, etc.)

6. The mobile app

This Cookie Policy applies to the edrink website only. Mobile apps do not use cookies; they use different technologies such as:

  • Device identifiers (e.g., advertising IDs, push notification tokens)
  • Mobile attribution IDs (used by AppsFlyer to measure app installs and marketing performance)
  • SDK-level analytics within the app itself

These are described in detail in our Privacy Policy. Where applicable, the app will request your consent through in-app prompts (for example, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS).

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, particularly when we add or remove cookies or change how we use them.

The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. For material changes — for example, if we introduce analytics or marketing cookies — we will notify you by re-displaying the cookie banner so you can review and update your consent.
